It's a circular trail so can be done either way. We did it anti-clockwise (although the occasional waymark arrows point clockwise). Going this way you first pass along the splendid Loch Morlich beach, with shade under the scattered pines, then follow the Allt Mor (Big Burn) before going up to the Ski Road, where the attractions are the Visitor Centre (with shop and cafe), the Reindeer Centre and the Glenmore shop and cafe.
You can easily add this trail to the nearby Allt Mor Trail (Walk 2681).
