The Ayrshire Coastal Path from Ayr to Prestwick

The walk visits some areas of old Ayr before travelling through an industrial area to cross the railway line and return to Newton of Ayr shore. For the rest of the walk there are spectacular views to the north, west and south over the Firth of Clyde. Before Prestwick the path descends to the beach and then returns to Prestwick Promenade.
