This section of the walk is much less strenuous than the second, beginning with a walk along the Leete Path with views of the cavernous entrances to lead and silver mines, to Loggerheads Country Park. From there a succession of low hills, many of them limestone, leads to the pastures surrounding Llandegla, an old drovers' village.
