The Donheads - Wincombe - Gutch Common - Barkers Hill - The Donheads

A circular walk starting at the Forester Inn in the village of Donhead St Andrew, the walk will take you westwards over the fields to Donhead St Mary and then on to Wincombe and to the edge of Wincombe Park. From there you will walk through several wooded areas and over the high ground of Little Path Hill, Gutch Common and Barkers Hill before returning to Donhead St Andrew.

Very enjoyable walk, with lovely views and plenty of wildlife to see. Good paths and quiet country roads with good walk details. One point however, the pub carpark, where the walk starts, has a sign "for patrons only". We didn't feel it ok to stop here and there is no off road parking available anywhere near the pub, so found a spot, although not ideal, near waypoint 3
