East Garston has a great cafe operating out of the village hall on East Street. Indoor and outdoor tables.

This was feeling like a bit of a slog by the end - at a measured 9.8 miles by GPS it’s a fair bit longer than advertised - but the extensive views on the downs make for an exhilarating walk. Directions still good, although I found the ‘broad grassy path’ at WM10 narrow and muddy so ensure you’re heading due south! The Lamb in Lambourn now caters for horses rather than humans...

Completed this walk today - lovely walk , great views, no big climbs just lovely undulating countryside. Village of East Garston is also very pretty. Really enjoyed it. Think I took a wrong turn towards the end where the Lambourne Way sign directs you into someone's garden and onto the road prematurely.
