We had some difficulty locating the start point - we were relying on electronics having omitted to pack an OS map. Many car satnav systems do not recognise OS coordinates nor do they accept Latitude/Longitude data in the form presented on the instructions, though these are absolutely correct. The start location (in degrees, minutes and seconds) is 52 35' 14.8" N, 2 43' 50.8" W. I hope this is helpful! The walk was excellent though I suggest a timing of two and a quarter hours which allows time to absorb the breathtaking panoramas - and for breathtaking!

Excellent walk but it might be helpful to warn that there are several intermediate peaks before the summit. The final climb to the summit is clearly recognisable as there are steps cut into the grass and there is a weather vane at the top. Otherwise the climbing was at a reasonable gradient and the path very easy to follow as well as the lane on the return leg. Two hours good estimate for timing for those of average fitness.

A splendid short walk. Thank you for suggesting it. Those who find descending steep slopes harder than climbing them may prefer to reverse the route.
