A grand walk right along the shore for an inclement day or when the conditions underfoot are just too bad, as the going is always on concrete and an escape to the tram is never much more than a mile away. There is plenty of interest as Fleetwood is a port as well as a marina and the birdlife of Morecambe Bay is forever a joy.
