The view of the ridge mountains from the Teide area is breathtaking and to think you will be walking along its top is awesome. There are some fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, so take your camera. You walk from the central mountain of Teide, to climb two-thirds up Guajara, the third highest mountain on Tenerife, then walk along the ridge and down into the Las Lajas recreation site. However, this is an extremely challenging walk, so you have to be fit and the weather has to be cloudless and settled for the walk to be safe.
