This is a lovely walk by the side of three rivers: the Spey, the Calder and the Allt na Feithe Buidhe, with a fine stretch of moorland-walking between the latter two. There are great views of the surrounding mountains and over Strathspey.

On New Year's Day walking the trail is a bit of a festival with stops for refreshments and mince pies on the way. It is a good way to clear the head ready for the next party.
