This short circular walk will help to keep you fit and build up a nice appetite for a nice meal afterwards at the old pub (photo on the right). It's best done in summer or early autumn as it uses ancient footpaths and bridleways which may be muddy in winter and through fields of crops which look much nicer in summer. The walk has good signposting with a lot of the route on tracks with good surfaces, and which are very flat for most of the way.

This walk is suitable for teenagers, senior citizens and anyone in-between also good for dogs, but hopeless for wheelchairs and buggies. Suitable footwear will be anything flat soled, but boots will be best as some paths could be muddy with numerous puddles if there has recently been heavy rain; and there should be no problems for anyone wearing shorts. There are refreshments, toilets and parking at 'The Seven Stars' pub at the start and finish. You will need to book in advance to enable parking on the small car park, and you should also be able to get a good meal with your drink, an excellent finish to a good walk.
