The walk starts from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon), a modern church on the outskirts of Newton Abbot, then goes through woodland and countryside to the pretty village of Coffinswell. The route then does a loop around Coffinswell where there are lovely views from the hill above the village. Then it's back into the village, passing St Bartholomew's Church. The route next goes over to Haccombe, visiting the church of St Blaise, then onwards to Milber, with some more lovely countryside views and returning to Newton Abbot.
