A really enjoyable walk, mostly off road. Signage was great, although we did miss a right just before Barton Mere. I think it must be just before the house, but it was worth going down to the Mere. All went well again until Point 11, we came onto the concrete pad and turned left but there was a choice of straight, grass track with metal posts or footpath on left. The picture could have been either as much has changed and there were no signs. After much debate we chose the grass track, which was correct. Google fit recorded the mileage as 8.55.
