3/2/2015 - ROBERT LEWIS

Walk done today in beautiful cold weather. After some days of rain the route is extremely muddy in places, particularly descent from Llangynidr Mt and just before Neuadd Farm. The Tramroad is also horrendously muddy. NOTE- route changed at Cae-madog, Point 5. You can no longer go to side of farm. Go left through gate then up steep field. Right at stile to rejoin route through trees. Look out for marker post to left. Also the road from Trefil is now Private and a gate is closed at 5pm. We started from the village which added more than 2 miles. However, the walk is recommended.
