This really is a beautiful walk with lots of variety along the way. The majority of this walk follows tracks and lanes through the Trimley estate, also a stunning stretch beside the River Orwell and the Suffolk Yacht Harbour and a few residential roads. Some of the enclosed paths (independently named) through the estate are quite delightful and you will also encounter some excellent views along the route. For refreshments you will pass a pub and two cafes, plus you also have a chance to have a picnic on the beach with lovely views across the River Orwell.
