The fort at Twyn y Garth is a wonderful viewpoint and 'The Gun' is an extra attraction. This is an easy walk aimed at those who want the gain without the pain!!! Anyone wanting more of a challenge should go for Walk 1919, which also visits The Gun.

A lovely walk with good views and thousands of sheep around the gun!. Directions were good, but at the end we retraced our steps as we couldn't see the house with greenhouse mentioned. All said, we made it back safe and it was a nice walk in the Beacons. 9/10.
