The walk starts in the village of Tydd St Mary and soon heads out along a waterway to join the Nene Way, a 183 km walk from Badby in Northamptonshire to Sutton Bridge in Lincolnshire. Turning inland the picturesque village of Newton is encountered, then Tydd St Giles before returning to the start.
