Starting and finishing at Tynemouth Priory (an English Heritage site), this walk takes you along the coast to Cullercoats Bay and its lifeboat station. The walk then heads inland to Marden Quarry Nature Reserve. The return is back along the coast to Tynemouth. In addition to the attractions of the priory, lifeboat station and nature reserve, there is also the sea life aquarium on the route of the walk.
