Starting at Chappel and Wakes Colne station this circular walk is a very peaceful stroll through fields passing through two farms, along country lanes, a lovely section beside the River Colne whilst walking along the edge of Colne Valley Golf Club, and a relaxing stretch through Chalkney Woods. The paths I used through the woods are not shown on the OS map, but nevertheless, the instructions are very easy to follow.
Just a few of the paths were slightly overgrown (September 2023) but didn't cause a problem along the route.
