Walcott is a popular seaside village on the north coast of Norfolk. The route is along field edges, tracks and very quiet country lanes. There are fine views on most of the walk and in places wildflowers and butterflies abound with skylarks in the fields.

We would like to thank Steve Bullimore for kindly giving us permission to use his car park for this walk. His popular hostelry, the Lighthouse Inn, has an extensive menu to choose from. There has been an inn here for 150 years.

Parking was very easy at the Lighthouse and we had no difficulty following the walk which was mostly around the perimeter of fields and some country lanes. It wasn't the most scenic of walks though perhaps typical of this part of Norfolk and we were all pleased to return to the start where we enjoyed local ales and crab sandwiches!
