A wonderfully scenic walk from Walton, a tiny Warwickshire setting and visiting Combrook (also spelt Combroke) before circling round to join the Warwickshire Feldon Cycleway for the final part of the venture. Marvellous views are afforded along the way and streams, meadows and woodland are constant delights, with the added interest of the stately Walton Hall. It stands in beautiful parkland which is a joy to wander through, especially in springtime when sheep with their little lambs bring their own particular wonder to the landscape.

A varied and interesting walk, but we have suggested some additional details to aid navigation. We needed to use a GPS to find our way across the larger meadows. At WP 4 – the footpath across the meadow is obvious, but wasn’t immediately visible from the gate so a quick reccy might be needed. WP 6 – the bridleway commences up a private drive on the right opposite a green Nissen hut – the garage business may have moved.
