This walk is across largely arable land in rural Northants.
En route is a 'garden' planted with a great variety of eucalyptus trees, all of which are labelled with their type. At about the halfway point there is a bench overlooking a stream that is ideal for a picnic lunch and there is a pub in Helmdon.

(Note - March 2009: drainage work using heavy machinery is reported between Waymarks 29 and 34. You may need to divert on other paths or even use the lanes, all shown on the OS map. Please let us know if you walk this route and find it is all back to normal - thank you!)
