Starting from The Plough Inn, Warmington, after descending the route goes across field-paths up to and following the M40 a short way before crossing. After following the M40 it cuts across field-paths to the village of Avon Dassett. It climbs out of the village and follows an escarpment, giving good views, before descending for minor road-work and field-paths and returning to Warmington. There are excellent food and beers at The Plough Inn, Warmington Tel: 01295-690666.
