Waxham and Sea Palling are two small seaside villages on the Norfolk coast. The walk starts close to the church in Waxham, which is partly ruined at the back. Waxham Barn is close by, built in the 1600s, the same time as the hall next door. The route heads straight on to the beach from here and follows the coast north-west for about a mile or so until you arrive at Sea Palling. The route heads back over the dunes, past the shops and along the bottom of the dunes until you reach the village church. The church is tucked away from the busy tourist area of the village and is only small, but very pretty. The last leg of the walk follows the road back to Waxham.

A lovely long stretch along the beach was the highlight of the walk. At point 13 we followed Mill Lane back to the beach as the road between points 14 and 15 is rather busy and has little in the way of footpath. The Hall Inn at point 9 is now a private residence.
