The excellent pub in the village, The Westleigh Inn has ample parking but it is also very busy because of its position overlooking the estuary, its large beer garden with play area and even sheds, so parking there is not permitted unless your visiting the pub after the walk. We therefore start the walk from a very convenient layby on the main road. This is only a short walk via a pretty footpath up into the village. Wherever you walk on this walk the views are glorious.
