From the picturesque little village of Weston, this walk visits tiny Plumpton and its very small church, before going on to the larger village of Moreton Pinkney. The passing scenes are wonderful in lush Northamptonshire farming country, where fields and hedges, trees and streams are ever-present, near and far. Medieval field patterns are much in evidence around Weston, an interesting and attractive landscape feature that has remained unchanged throughout these many years of farming and land management and a joy to behold; altogether, a super little walk.
