Whitegate Way

The route along the actual Whitegate Way is popular with riders of both horses and bikes, so look out for them. There is quite a lot of birdlife along the route of the old railway line. Parts of the walk can be a bit muddy at times, especially after rain. As the route crosses the Whitegate Way at several places, there are plenty of escape routes.
