Head out from Wick across fields, passing a burial chamber to the village of Upton Cheyney (which has a bit of curious architecture; there was obviously some wealth there once, if not now!). From there return, mainly on the Monarch's Way, but passing a curious 1977 memorial and Wick Court before returning to Wick, where you can visit Golden Valley Nature Reserve.
