This is a walk with charisma and in summer the vegetation may offer challenges in a couple of places, so perhaps is not to be considered as a leisurely amble in shorts and sandals. There is an awkward stile at Waymark 3, a challenging set of derelict steps at Waymark 4, which together with possibly dense undergrowth including brambles, makes the A12 crossing something of an event. Between Waymarks 8 and 9 an old gate guarded by nettles can be tricky. However, the navigation throughout is pretty straightforward, well mainly.

Oh, yes, just after Waymark 9 as you enter a wood, a large and emphatic sign warns of the danger of wild boar.

A route for walkers, in short. Enjoy!
