This is an interesting walk in the Fens. The walk starts at Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen and goes beside the River Great Ouse. The path is part of the long distance path, Fen Rivers Way. At the next village, Wiggenhall St Germans, you cross the river-bridge and return along the west bank of this wide river.

Pleasant evening stroll. The outbound path is well maintained as its part of the Fens river way (approx 6 miles into Kings Lynn). The inbound heading back to Wiggenhall St Mary Magdelen is less so.

Did this walk on a hot August day in 2015. The instructions are easy to follow and the pub at the turnaround point was welcome. The outbound path is very well kept however when we walked it the return path was quite overgrown in places and if I did it again I'd probably use the outbound path both ways.
