Williton is a small, busy town near the western edge of the Quantock Hills. This circular route explores some lovely walking territory to the south and east of the town. Passing near to St Peter's Church and Aller Farm on the initial southward journey away from the town, the path then heads north in the direction of Sampford Brett, passing through a peaceful wood on the way.
Sampford Brett is an attractive village and this walk leads through the middle of it, turning left at the church of St George and crossing the A39 at a junction near the Quantock Service Station. The remainder of the walk follows farm- and field-tracks, with a final stage leading along a quiet lane to the start point of the walk.
