Winscombe - Sidcot - Shipham - Sandford - Strawberry Line - Winscombe

The walk takes you from the village of Winscombe along the back of the village to get you to the village of Sidcot, then over fields to Shipham. A stretch on a restricted by-way is followed by a section on a track uphill (not too steep!) to take you from woodland, then descending to join the Strawberry Path to return to your start.

A great walk but about 6.5 miles!! The sign at point 17 no longer states to Lyncombe Lodge Hotel but the post remains.

Same again. A great day out 2 years on. Some paths a bit more overgrown than before but all passable.
