Wybunbury - Wybunbury Moss - Wybunbury Tower - Brook House - Wybunbury

This is an intriguing walk around Wybunbury Moss, which is a nature reserve set up to protect one of the best floating bogs in Europe. A word of warning - please keep to the paths as it is dangerous to enter the Moss. If you are lucky, as we were, on returning to the tower you may get the conducted tour. There is plenty to see in this, one of Cheshire's oldest villages.

Just wanted to say what a lovely walk this was. Perfect for an evening stroll with the pups. Further internet research provided some fascinating information about the "Schwingmoor" too. I'd love to have a tour of the actual moss if it were available. This is one of my favourite local walks just because it has such a relaxed feel to it. Thanks to Robin & Christine
