The route starts near the railway station and heads out into open country before skirting a large, but pleasant, housing development. Through The Lizard and the town comes into view. The main street is largely unspoilt by chain stores as the Market Cross is passed en route to the delightful Wymondham Abbey and Becketswell Meadow.
