A walk in a pretty dale, mostly flat but with a small amount of gradient at the start and good in all weathers. The River Bradford in followed for the length of the dale. There is wildlife in abundance.

Walked this in July and it was one of the highlights of our week. The dog loved it too! Excellent instructions.

Derbyshire County Council have responded to the dog dirt feedback but have asked that their comment is not published. Please bear in mind the riverside is private land off the highway and the council is not responsible for these areas. If, like us, you have a dog PLEASE clear up after it!

Pleasant river walk, which we completed this afternoon. We saw a yellow wagtail. The only thing my wife didn't like about the walk is that there was dog dirt allover.

Beautiful walk completed today. However just one point to make the walk slightly shorter and avoid the steep incline at the T-junction at point 3 (for people with dodgy hips, knees etc) turn left instead of right and this will bring you to point 6 when the river appears
