A very pretty little walk for visitors to Town End, where parking can be difficult on busy days, with a nice climb through woods and terrific views across Lake Windermere.

Did this walk on a recent visit to Ambleside staying at the Cherry Garth Hotel just opposite the Garden Centre so right by Waymark 1! Lovely walk but a hard climb and we found it harder coming down! Took us more than 90 minutes but the views made it all worthwhile.
