Starting off at the Walna Scar car park this route follows a quiet path across vast open moors, gently descending to a massive open quarry known as Banishead Quarry.

The route heads through the quarry and up to the main feature on the walk. Banishead Quarry waterfall is a spectacular sight as the stream crashes over the edge of the quarry to the dark pool below; definitely a place to visit again and again!

From here the route leads uphill, through an ancient Bronze Age homestead and to the Walna Scar Road, which heads back to the car park.
