This is a pleasant walk along quiet lanes and easy footpaths, in an unspoilt area close to busy Bowness. The walk takes you through undulating countryside.

A couple of minor comments from a colleague who walked 2336 last week. Generally a very enjoyable walk which was open and walkable all the way round. In Waymark 8's photo, the tree at the left is no longer there. At waymark 19, she felt it was worth reinforcing the message to go right, as the walkers in the picture are going left, and she assumed it must be a typo. At waymark 14, the telegraph pole in question was actually the second that could be interpreted as being on an outcrop / knoll. (Appropriate notes now added to the instructions. Many thanks Chris.)
