Coppermines to the reservoir of Levers Water. The walk then descends to join one of the main "Old Man" footpaths, back towards Coniston. An ideal short walk for an afternoon with some splendid views of the surrounding hills.

A truly fantastic walk with superb views of Coniston Water and Coniston Village pretty much all the way. I would hesitate to describe it as an 'easy' walk though if you're a novice. I'm no mountain goat by any means and found the steep climb [noted at point 4] required my full attention. Definitely a sense of achievement once we arrived at Levers water though.
