In an area full of very good walks, this circular walk takes in a large variety of the scenery in the Langdales. Starting in Elterwater, the path takes you up the hill towards Hunting Stile Crag. Further on you are rewarded with views northwards to Grassmere. As the walk heads southwards you walk close by Loughrigg Tarn and then descend to Skelwith Force. The walk finishes by following the beck back towards Elterwater.

An excellent short walk. Continuing straight on at waypoint 5 to Hunting Stile abd then turning right and walking along the road to way point 7 extends the walk a little and offers some superb views of Grasmere.
