A pleasant walk from the small village of Forest-in-Teesdale, covering part of the Pennine Way and the English Nature National Nature Reserve Moor House - Upper Teesdale. It allows a timely refreshment stop at a friendly public house before tackling the hill leading to the remains of the old lead mines, returning downhill to Forest-in-Teesdale, a fairly gentle stroll ideally suited for a fine day.
