Four great summits with fantastic views of Helvellyn, Coledale, Skiddaw and Blencathra; the Dodd group is a bit off the beaten track, so with luck you won't have to deal with the hordes that often take over Helvellyn. The ascent is easily manageable and once on the first summit the walk stays high until the final descent into the isolated hamlet of Dowthwaitehead.
