A single direction walk with miles of stunning scenery, starting from the rugged area of Hannafore and overlooking Looe Island Bay, or from Looe itself (about 1km). Follow the coast path to enjoy fantastic views over the coast and country at every pause for breath. After about 3.5km we descend into Talland Bay where there are toilets and a small cafe. Following the coast path again we find more stunning views before descending into the picturesque fishing village of Polperro.

After exploring the village (allow plenty of time to look around and take photos) and perhaps having a meal of freshly caught fish, we can catch a bus back to Looe. Including the larger fishing port of Looe with its fine sandy beach and the quaint fishing village of Polperro, there is enough easily to fill a full day - perhaps lunch at Looe and dinner at Polperro or lunch at Polperro and return to Looe for dinner.

There is a long term or even permanent diversion from the coastal path between Talland Bay and and Polperro. It is quite well signposted and did not detract too much from the splendour of the views on this great walk although it makes it a bit less 'coastal'- we were very lucky with the weather for November.

July 2005- Excellent walk with easy to follow cliff path all the way. Wonderful views along coast.
