We start from Hannafore promenade, overlooking Looe Island, famously known for many years for its only two inhabitants of two elderly sisters and now a place of special interest. Our walk takes us down to the bustling harbour of West Looe. Here on the quayside is an ideal place to catch our breath before starting our journey up a very steep hill, past quaint character cottages and along quiet country lanes and picturesque views of the coast. As we continue our journey, it takes us round the edge of a holiday site and down into the small cove of Talland Bay. Here we are rewarded for our efforts with refreshments from the small cove cafe, before beginning our return journey along the 5km stretch of coast path, with its stunning views of the rugged coastline, beore returning us to the start of our walk on the promenade.

Not a bad walk, the only thing that spoils it is the road walking which in places is quite dangerous due to the very narrow lanes. Once the road walking is over and you reach the coastal path you can really appreciate the walk. There are quite a few ups and downs and its a strenuous walk. Part of the coast path has collapsed but fortunately has been diverted higher up. A great walk with perfect directions and some fantastic views. 8/10.
