This walk starts with the crowds at the New Dungeon Ghyll and climbs by the waterfalls up to Stickle Tarn. Once at Stickle Tarn you will leave the crowds by heading off to Sergeant Man, a rocky outcrop with good views. Then it is on to High Raise, possibly the most central fell in the lakes. Take time here to admire the 360-degree views before returning via Mickleden on the Cumbrian Way.

Undertaken July 2018 in glorious weather. Hike to Stickle Tarn and High Raise was very strenuous and warm. About 2 miles more or less straight uphill.
