Starting from the Tilberthwaite Ghyll car park, head up past Pennyrigg Quarry and over Above Beck Fells before climbing up to the summit of Wetherlam. From here you cross the Prison Band before a bit of a scramble up to Swirl How and along West Side Edge. Finally you head down to the Greenburn Valley and return to Tilberthwaite with a spendid view of Little Langdale Tarn en route.
