This is a linear walk between two towns that are well connected by public transport. It is entirely on bridleways or BOATs with some additional stretches on lanes and gives continuous high level walking with outstanding views. Dubbs Road, the centre of the walk, is a track that is not often walked as it does not connect well with the footpath network at its southern end and so will not be crowded.
