A short climb from the hamlet of Offham with great views of the Ouse flood-plain is followed by a visit to the site of the Battle of Lewes and a walk across the top. There's a bit of history and horse lovers will enjoy a walk past the Lewes Racecourse stables, but this is really all about the view and getting the wind in your hair only a few minutes away from the main road.
