Start at a popular car park just off the M25 on the A217. There's a good view from the car park. Pass a Napoleonic War fort plus some reminders of the Second World War and come across even better views from Reigate Hill. Down to a lower level, return via bridleways to enjoy Capability Brown's vision at Gatton Park. The Royal Alexandra and Albert School lies in the park. The grounds and house are open to the public on the first Sunday of every month between February and October.

Nice walk, very very steep in parts. Not a walk if damp underfoot. There is a nearby hotel which has parking if the main cafe parking is full.

I've done this walk today. Beautiful day for it! We took our time at 3 hours, stopping to soak up the views. Lovely walk. Lovely views. The instructions and photos are still accurate. Thanks. Enjoy it.

This was the first walk my girlfriend & I did off Walking World back in January, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It took us 2 hours, rather than 3, and we took plenty of time to enjoy the sights. Excellent directions and lots to see.

A superb walk for the short winter days. There is a tea shop at the start/end serving lovely hot chocolate, bacon butties and other hot food. The walk itself is nice and easy with superb views with little effort. The only slight downside is the noise from the nearby M25 but other than this a superb walk with perfect directions. 9/10.
