The walk climbs slowly across remote moorland countryside to find the solitary 'dwelling' of Cosh House before returning gently on the service track.

Walked this today (July 2020) Generally a good walk, so don't let the following deter you from doing it. Would expect an 'easy' walk of 3.3 miles with no additional remarks in the introduction to be suitable for us and our grandchildren (8, 7 and 5) without too much moaning, but suspect this would not be the case. So glad it was just us!! Trouble is we did this as an additional walk after a 7.5 mile strenuous walk. Route finding is good, but between points 5 and 7 the path was at times indistinct. It was also quite boggy, so suggest boots. Cosh House has now been completely renovated, and looks great! The route back down the service track is more like what I understand by 'easy'.
