This is an easy, flat walk, covering canal towpath, farmland and quiet country lanes, an ideal walk before or after a pub meal. Note that the instructions for this walk assume that you are carrying a map with the waypoints marked.

I re-walked this after several years. Just after WM02 the bridge that is in a poor state of repair has signs on each side of it saying 'Footpath Closed'. These signs are being ignored as walkers cross it on a daily basis. Otherwise all waymark instructions have been verified.

A fine small walk, surprisingly varied for its short length with some quiet (and enviable) residential lanes as well as village, fields and towpath. Not at all muddy underfoot, with the exception of the stretch of canal towpath at WM18. An agreeable way to spend an hour and a half.

I have rewalked this this morning. Following Harley Quilliam's comments (08/05/2015) I have made a number of improvements to the instructions. I have also updated a couple of waypoint photographs as there are some new wooden gates on the walk.

A nice easy walk for a pleasant autumn afternoon. No height gain noticed and great conditions underfoot. Not a great deal to see but still nice all the same. Watch out for small dogs that jump up with muddy paws on white shirts!!!!! 7/10. Well done!
